Move Provides FREE Chess Tournaments for Youth
Welcome
to The Right Move's website. You've just entered
the site of the longest running free scholastic chess tournament
program in New York History. The Right Move is now in its
15th successful year of holding free scholastic chess tournaments
for the New York area.
The Right Move Chess Foundation, Inc. is a charitable organization
whose purpose is to serve the New York City community through
chess, the world's preeminent intellectual game. The Right
Move provides free chess tournaments, chess instruction,
literature, and equipment at schools, community centers,
libraries, and hospitals.

different sites around New York.
The Right Move has a variety of different sites
and programs that it offers. This includes teaching
programs as well as the funding of chess tournaments.
